Warm Reception Area
When you enter the building you are struck with a beautiful waterfall encompassing the logo of the office and the Millennium Aesthetics Teaching Facility. We have created a soothing environment for our patients who can comfortably view a large plasma screen TV with the warmth of a fireplace adjacent to our kids corner which has games and activities.
Operatories
The facility has 8 operatories that are all identically equipped with rear delivery Adec equipment. There are no walls between the operatories, and the open concept creates a warm and light feeling.
Consultation Room
Your treatment plan will be discussed one on one in the private setting of our consultation room. With the use of computer aids and models we are able to explain step by step the process of your oral car
In House Denturist
At Welland Dental Care we have a highly experienced in-house Denturist who has years of experience counselling our patients on the right denture solution and providing on going denture care. Digital Radiography
Digital Radiography offers our patients the added advantage of up to 80% less radiation than traditional traditional x-rays, while providing clear high quality x-ray photography.
Modern Sterilization Centres
At Welland Dental Care, we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and best practices in sterilization using the widely praised “cassette system”. Medical tools are sterilized in sealed trays and are only exposed to the elements once ready to be used. Protecting our patients is very important to us and our modern and stringent sterilization protocols provide patients with piece of mind, enhancing your experience at our office.
Soft Tissue Laser Technology
Using laser technology we are able to remove unwanted soft tissue, recontour tissue, remove frenums, treat periodontal pockets and remove polyps with little to no bleeding and faster healing than traditional surgical procedures. The photo on the left depicts a procedure before and after with diode laser soft tissue recontouring prior to porcelain crowns.
Wireless Office
Our office is equipped with wireless technology. This means that visitors wishing to gain access to their email or the Internet may do so using their laptop or other wireless gadgets while they wait for their appointment. Now that’s cool!
T.V. and Media Displays
Each of our operatories are equipped with a large colour television directly attached to the patient chair. These are used not only for the patients’ comfort but also are used for viewing digital x-rays, photos and various patient education tools. These are a great tool for communication between the dentist, staff and the patient.
Oral Cancer Screening
As a standard protocol, our office conducts regular Oral Cancer Screenings. Unlike many offices that rely only on the Doctor or Hygienists visual survey of your mouth, we use a special device that operates like a “black light” drawing obvious attention to any potentially problematic areas in the mouth.
